Can I use your products outdoors?
Our products are made for indoor use. For a long life, keep them out of direct sunlight, away from water and away from high humidity. All products have a protective coating, so the colours stay in place under normal use. Coasters are best kept dry.
Can I buy your souvenirs directly from you?
Our souvenirs are sold through our distributors in their shops. If you are in Indonesia, you can see where to find them on the Where to find us page. If you are a wholesaler or a distributor, please contact us.
Can you put my photos on sand?
Yes, we can try. The artwork interacts with the rough surface of the sand, so landscapes, graphics and illustrations give the best result. Send us your idea and we will tell you what works well.
Can I bring your products to Australia?
We are not aware of problems for customers who bought our products in Bali and took them to Australia. Our fridge magnets and wall decorations use MDF or plywood from sustainable sources with the necessary certificates, and the sand layer has a water-based protective coating and contains no protected species such as sea shells. Please check the import rules of your own country.
Can I remove the cardboard frame?
Yes. The cardboard frame is mainly a gift box that protects the wall decoration during transport. Once it is unpacked, the piece sits on a coloured back frame with a hole for easy mounting on the wall.
Distributors and shops
Will the sand come off over time?
A few grains may come loose, which is normal and does not damage the artwork. Loose grains found in the packaging are usually left over from before the final coating. Under normal use the sand coating does not come off.
Can I get custom packaging?
Yes. We can adapt the design and text of the packaging to your needs. The Sandart web address and logo always stay on some part of the packaging. Contact us for details and requirements.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum is per design and depends on the product, for example 20 pieces per design for fridge magnets. Prices come down with quantity. See the Wholesale page for all minimum orders.
Can I make my own designs?
Yes. Contact us and we will tell you what a design needs to look like to suit our process.
May I make a Sandart website for my country?
Yes, but you may not present yourself as the manufacturer of Sandart in your country or area. If you become a distributor, you must make clear that you are the official distributor of Sandart products.
